Chicago Consular Corps

The Annual Consular Ball honors the over 80 foreign Consulates and Honorary Consulates and the communities they represent in Chicago.

The Chicago Consular Corps presents its prestigious Global Citizen Award, which honors an individual who has made an extraordinary contribution to the international reputation, stature and outreach of Chicago.  

“This event showcases why Chicago is a global city,” said Patricia Maza-Pittsford, Dean of the Chicago Consular Corps and Consular General of El Salvador, “The Consular Corps is proud to be part of the annual celebration and to award the Global Citizen Award each year.”
