Visit to the Art Institute of Chicago with the CCC for the exhibition “Frida Kahlo’s Month in Paris: A Friendship with Mary Reynolds”

On July 9, the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago, together with the CCC and thanks to the invitation from the Art Institute of Chicago, had the pleasure of touring the exhibition “Frida Kahlo’s Month in Paris: A Friendship with Mary Reynolds.”

During the visit, we learned more about a very special period in Frida Kahlo’s life: her time in Paris and her friendship with Mary Reynolds, a key figure in the art world of that era.

We are truly pleased that the legacy of Frida, one of Mexico’s most iconic artists, continues to inspire new generations in such important spaces. Without a doubt, it was an enriching experience that reaffirms the power of art as a bridge between cultures.
